Burgess, Gordon Clarke, formerly of Champion, passed away May 19, 2013 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 82 years.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, three daughters, Rose-Marie (Eldon) Kube of Dixonville, AB, Cynthia Houston of the Yukon, Patricia “Trish” (Glen Barker) Gibson of Winfield, B.C, Richard of Calgary, Ron of Vancouver and Darrell (Cheryl) Burgess of Lethbridge, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother Don (Jean) Burgess of Edmonton, three sisters Ruth Burgess of Vancouver, Marie (Roy) Corless of Sundre, E. Mae (Phil) Ruggles of Lomond, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his parents Harry and Thelma Burgess.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Champion Free Evangelical Church with Rev. Tim Hill officiating.
