Janina Kokaritis passed away on February 6, 2008 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 89 years.

Janina is survive by two grandchildren Peter (Teri) Kokaritis of Calgary and Angel (Gavin) Willimont of High River, four great grandchildren Justin, Carlie, Lindsay and Shane, numerous nieces and nephews in Latvia.
Janina was predeceased by her husband Janis in 2005, her son Arvids “John” in 2007 and her parents.
