Hofer, Joseph K. passed away quietly while doing what he loved best on February 26, 2009 at the age of 81 years.
Joseph was the cow boss for nine years and the German Teacher / in charge of the garden for twenty-nine years.
Beloved husband of Katie Hofer of Little Bow Colony, devoted father of five daughters Sarah (John), Barbara (Ike), Lydia (Paul), Katherine (Dave), Susie, four sons Paul (Ruth), Dave (Wendy), Peter (Katie), Jonty (Sarah), twenty-eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one brother Jacob (Rachel), three sisters Annie (John), Elizabeth (Andy), Susan (Eli), numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 12 noon at Little Bow Colony.
Interment at Little Bow Colony Cemetery.
