Bexte, Margaret Patricia passed away suddenly at home in Mossleigh, Alberta February 19, 2009 at the age of 64 years.
Margaret was born September 23, 1944 at Lethbridge, Alberta to Gordon and Patricia Murdoch. She married Reno Bexte at Calgary in 1962 and they lived in Arrowwood. In 1965 they moved to Mossleigh and have resided there since.
Margaret had a passion for playing games, especially cards, bowling and golfing. Her hobbies were knitting and crocheting. Margaret’s greatest love were her family and friends and the times they shared together. She was a good listener and was always able to get to the root of the problem and provide sound advice. Margaret was very witty, loved to laugh and make other people laugh with her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Beloved wife of Reno, loving mother of a daughter Lori (Guy) Vooys of Strathmore their children Geoff and Andrew, a son Bruce (Helen) of Calgary, her mother Pat Collins, a sister-in-law Gladys Murdoch, two half brothers Ken and Ron Collins, two brothers-in-law Michael Macleod and Bruce Christensen, numerous aunts, nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her father Gordon Murdoch, two sisters Rhonda Macleod and Vicki Christiansen and a brother Jack Murdoch.
Memorial service was held Tuesday February 24, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Mossleigh Community Hall with Rev. Lee Spice officiating.
Honorary bearers were Pat Tharle, Lois Burnay, Martha Tomlinson, Iona Wark, Selma Thurber, Sheila Gehrke and Kay Kidd.
