It is with great sadness that the family of Bill Wogsberg announces his sudden passing.
Wilhelm “Bill” Oscar Wogsberg, born on July 12, 1935, passed away August 18, 2012 at Taber, Alberta at the age of 77 years.
Bill is survived by his loving wife La Verla, five children Lavinia (Bruce) Henderson, William (Marilyn) Wogsberg, Laura (Randy) Schlaht, Roberta (Michael) Chambers and Denise (Doug) Webber, nine grandchildren, Kyle (Marilynne) Braun, Shelby and Jonah Wogsberg, Amber and Rachelle Tiegen, Leighton and Erin Chambers, Cassidy and Adam Webber, a great grandson Gaige Braun, a sister Ida, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his son-in-law Larry Tiegen.
Bill was born on the family farm at Lomond to John and Bjorhild Wogsberg. He had a strong love of the farm his father started and that he had grown. Bill was especially proud to receive the Century Farm Family Award July 11, 2012.
