Hart, Alice May, of Vulcan, passed away August 1, 2012 at the age of 91 years. May was born on August 31, 1920 in Bow Island to Thomas and Ellen Brooks.
Mom enjoyed dancing, playing cards, baking, and most of all visits with her grandchildren.
May is survived by two daughters Beth (Lee) Somerville of Vulcan, Pat Hart of Grande Prairie, 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, one brother Ken Brooks, one sister Kay Grover, both of Calgary, one brother-in-law Oliver Hart of Lomond, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 2000, two sons Howard in 1964 and Lyle in 1975, her parents and 8 siblings.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 2 to 5 pm at the Vulcan Legion Hall (240 Sinclair Road, Vulcan, AB).
Private family inurnment at a later date.

My condolences to all the family of Alice May, whilst she was personally unknown to me, she was my fourth cousin, through our Hulin family connexion. I am saddened to learn of her passing, however she appears to have had a full life, one enriched by a loving family.
