Janice I am so sorry that Rod was taken so young. You were such a sweet couple and my sympathy extends to your children and all family members.
I played with the Breakaways for a short period when I was dating Don and have some very special memories of you all.
Janice and Family
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Rod. I know we haven’t kept in touch for many, many years, but our thoughts of you and your family have always been with us. I was very close to Rod as a teenager and young adult–in many ways he was like a brother to me. Playing with him in the band is a memory that I will always cherish. Rod was a man who spoke the truth. He led his life on his terms and was dearly loved by many. The community of Champion and Vulcan, and of course all people who had the privilege of knowing Rod will truly miss him.
Music was a huge part of Rod’s life, as it is with mine. It was an honor and a privilege for me to play the piano during your wedding ceremony. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult period.
Brad, Jody, Jordan, and Tessa Meadows
Kelly and family, thinking of you at this difficult time. I have fond memories of Rod during our high school years. God bless you
