    Patty and Family,

I first met Cody through Larry Hanna way back in the days of working at the York Hotel. Larry introduced Cody to us and they were the Vulcan boys. I was saddened to hear of his passing. While we all lost touch over the years, I still remember Cody well….he was steady and so kind—the kind of guy who was ‘what you see is what you get’….right up straight and honest. He had such a quiet strength about him. Please know I remember him fondly and I just wanted to pass on my sincere condolences to you and your family.

    Dear Nelson Family,

Though I only had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Nelson twice, that was all I needed to realize what a gentleman and kind-hearted person he was. Words can not describe how proud he was of his children and all their endeavours.

To my best friend, Kirsten, my heart goes out to you with pain and sadness. I hope you keep all your dad’s memories close to your heart.

To The Nelson Family, May God bring you comfort each day in knowing Mr. Nelson is safe and at peace in God’s hands.

    Much love and many hugs.

    Sincerely,
Robyn Madden & The Madden Family

I am Merlin Adams’s daughter. I believe Cody was named after my father as Carl and my Dad were good friends and they enjoyed each others company for many years until Dad passed away in 1997. As I think about our fathers and their association I think that Dad would have known Cody also and interacted with him at times. On behalf of the Adams family we share in your sorrow at this time and send you our love and understanding as you deal with your loss.

Patty, Kolten and family, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Cody. We are deeply shocked at his sudden passing. Please know we hold you all in our thoughts and prayers. Cody’s presence will be missed at the Eddie Mountain arena where he and Patty proudly watched and supported Kolten’s team. I remember his conversations with us about each of his kids and how proud he was of all of them. He was a true gentleman. RIP Cody, you will be forever missed.

Patty, Kayla, Kirsten, and Kolten. I am so, so sorry for your loss. Cody was an amazing man and heaven definitely gained another angel. One of the things that always struck me about Cody was his love and pride for his family— you were his everything! No matter where I saw him, he would always stop to tell me about what amazing things each of you were doing and he would beam with pride. I know that with his loss, you are all going to have a huge hole in your lives and hearts. Nothing we say or do can help fill that, but really cherish the memories; it is through those memories that he will always be with you! Your family is in our thoughts and prayers!!
