LOVE, Robert “Frank” 1927 – 2018

Love, Robert “Frank”, beloved husband of Marjorie for 67 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Vulcan Community Health Center on August 29, 2018 at the age of 91 years.

Frank was born July 26th, 1927 to Clifford and Marie (Ruark) Love at home on the farm near Berrywater, where he lived for 91 years. With his older sister Marjorie, Frank attended school at Berrywater and Vulcan. He married Marjorie Evans of Rocky Mountain House in 1951. Together on the same farm, they raised their four children.

Frank was a farmer at heart and continued actively farming until 2010 when back injuries no longer allowed him to run the farm machinery, but he remained the field boss until his passing.

Besides enjoying having all his family around, Frank loved his community, camping, golfing and tinkering on his garden tractors.

Besides his loving wife Marjorie, Frank is survived by a son Wayne (Judy; Alisha, Tanner, Lane and Cassidy), a daughter Joanne (Ian; Chris and MaryEllen, Wyatt and Morgan; Lisa and Tim, Tristan, Dustin and Taylor; Brady and Dave and Briar) and a son Kevin (Suzy; Katelyn and Lynn; Jason and Alyssa; Robert and Carleen) and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Marie Love, his sister Marjorie McCaskill and his son David.

A Come and Go Memorial Tea will be held at the Berrywater Community Center (232034 Twp Rd 182) on Thursday, September 20th from 1 to 4 pm. All are welcome to come and share memories of Frank.

In lieu of flowers, any tributes in Frank’s memory can be made to the Vulcan Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Box 299, Vulcan, AB, T0L 2B0.
