Mom has been keeping me in “the know” about Uncle Ivan’s health for the last while. Sorry to hear of his passing, but Mom indicated it was for the best. Time for him to be with his lovely wife now. It was always wonderful to see his eyes light up, have a hug and a kiss and a warm greeting. 96 years. Amazing! What a great uncle!
So sorry that I cannot attend the service on Tuesday, as I have a full day of family meetings scheduled at my school. Our thoughts will be with you that day. I think I am lucky to have grown up with so many wonderful aunts and uncles who were always interested to know how my life was going. I know that Auntie Dell, especially, will be very saddened.
    Our condolences to all,
    fondly,
Janelle and Cameron Schmitt and family
