    Our condolences Margaret and family.
Your Mom was such a sweetheart and whenever we would see her it seemed she was always with Laverne ! They were quite the cute pair.
It is always hard to lose a parent and at any age they may be. She would have seen a lot in her long life.

I wrote a condolence above, what happened to it.
I’m very sorry for your loss of May Chapman.
I visited her several times in Taber Continuing Care. I always told her I was June McAlister so she would remember me and she did.
    She will be missed.

To the family of May Chapman,
I was so sorry to hear of May’s passing. I visited her about 2 weeks ago, but she didn’t know me.
She was a great lady. When she taught in Lomond with my sister, Kathleen Mack, they became great friends.
    Please accept my sincere sympathy,
    June Fekete

    Dear friends ..
It is hard to believe that May is gone! She lived a very long and full life, and as a parent, teacher, friend and cherished member of our Lomond community had a positive impact on the lives of many, many people!
May and my late Mother Welda Maronda were great friends and we all thought the world of both May and Ralph! As a small child I still remember May coming to our house when my Mother hosted meetings for The Goodwill Service Club. Later I remember all the work the two of them put into locating graves and working on the restoration of The Lomond Cemetery. In more recent years I think of May as a parishioner and a constant supporter of the Lomond Bethany Lutheran Church. She and Laverne always had the pew just ahead of me, and we always had a pleasant chat each Sunday.
May was a kind, generous, thoughtful lady who did much for our community over her long life, and she will be remembered by all of us with love, respect, and great appreciation!
Because I am away at the moment I will miss May’s service, but I will be remembering her and thinking of you all on “the day”.
    Sincerely … Marvin Maronda
