Arnold Richard Bruns, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on March 8, 2019 at the age of 83 years. Arnold was born May 1, 1935 in Carstairs, AB to Lester and Ethel Bruns.
Arnold is survived by: son Terry of Logan Lake, B.C., daughter Karen (Randy) Kermack of Vulcan, AB., daughter Shelley Bruns of Champion, AB, daughter Sheryl Omand of Champion, AB, Step-daughter Gerry(Steve) Shannon of Calgary, AB, step-son Peter (Della) Flett of Calgary, AB, his sister Muriel Morasch of Olds, AB, sister Elsie Coombs of Edmonton, AB, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his second wife Patricia Bruns, his parents Lester and Ethel Bruns, brother Charles Bruns, and granddaughter Kimberley Kermack.
A Celebration of Arnold’s life will take place on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Carstairs Legion Hall (121 – 10 Avenue North, Carstairs, AB). Inurnment Carstairs Cemetery.
