Melody Anne Banks formerly of Calgary, passed away at Vulcan Community Health Centre January 19, 2009 at the age of 57 years.
Beloved wife of William “Bill” Banks of Vulcan, Melody is also survived by two daughters and two sons, brothers, sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as Bill’s children.
Melody was born July 6, 1951 at Edmonton, Alberta. After finishing her schooling she moved to Calgary and began working at Alcan Aluminum. Melody met William and they moved to Vulcan where they married October 2003. She has continued to reside in Vulcan until her passing.
Melody love her Billy, meeting people and spending quality time with them. She will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege to meet her. Melody was an outstanding, compassionate, energetic, stubborn, awesome women. She made all those she met feel better about them selves, for knowing her.
A celebration of her life gathering was held Friday January 23, 2009 beginning at 1:30 p.m. at their residence (201-2 St.North Vulcan)
